Let the poetry write you…

How often do you think out loud? When you have a conundrum to solve… do you talk to yourself, yell at the telly… tell the news commentators to shuuut uuup, perhaps? Have you noticed there’s a distinctly different timbre to the rhythm and wording in comparison to how you would talk to another person face to face? Do you have a personal code/language… if you speak other languages, do you sometimes revert to them to better express your thoughts?

These are little keys to letting language write you for your own unique way of expressing yourself and often in that rich landscape, you find a different way to communicate both with yourself and with others… but also how you approach a story, be it poetry, lyrics, novel or nonfiction.

Let the poetry write you

Allow the words to renew

the life that brims over

at the edge

of a different view

Let the words dig deep

Dredge

their veracity, volatility

their gentleness

their frailty

Let life write you

Let go control

Let the essence of being

animate your soul

Let the poetry of life write you

dive deep

into the light and dark

Find solace there

let it simmer over

to replenish the soul spark

Let nature write you… translate the you, you think you know, into the you, you truly are.

We can rewrite a script, but there are words said by rote… in sympathy, healing wishes, celebratory wishes… words of perseverance, encouragement, often sadly, with no genuine energy behind them. There are also those words used by design to bring another down, especially when maliciously spoken with knowledge of their impact to a person on a personal level. This is the resonance of the word SPITE… even the sound of it… SPIT with an E on the end!

Words hold great power… not only their context, but the vibration of the word when combined with the energy of intention. Sarcasm can be, for instance a brutal use of negatively imbued, words and thus described as the lowest form of wit.

What do you feel in your core at obviously evocative words like WAR or PEACE, GOOD or EVIL… (the word evil reversed is live) UGLY or BEAUTIFUL… SADNESS or HAPPINESS, PAIN or PLEASURE. Did you jump right in and FEEL them or skim over them without sensing the vibration of their meaning, in any language? Did you avoid the negatively inferred words and skip to the drum of the positive only? When we do this, we deny half of our consciousness because both exist within our time-space continuum. To negate one is to unbalance all we truly feel. This is denial. Words ignored in their energetic intention, doesn’t make them change their energy, it only increases the energy by pushing it deeper into the core of meaning and deeper into all we want to avoid.

Bird calls are their version of words. We may not understand their meaning but we can learn in association with the action the bird takes. Any animal speaks its own language and yet there’s no less meaning to it because we don’t necessarily understand it but then… your pet lets you know when its hungry, walks to an empty water bowl when thirsty and climbs on your lap or leans in when they or you are despondent. So there are other words we learn simply by the vibration of the action conveying them.

So, no matter the language we speak, or the sounds we make, actions we show through mime and, consider sign language… there is still the vibration, the energy of the word, in play and the more conviction behind it the more likely it is to manifest in matter.

Music… just like bird calls, conveys meaning, which we then interpret into words so we can better share the emotions it invokes… another language perhaps, but it still leads us back to words and their individual, even original vibrations.

When a sound calls to you

from forest deep

whispering, reverberating

even in sleep

listen closely to the silence

of the notes in-between

the song of the earth

knows where you are

where you’ve been

…a call from the ancestors

walking unseen

They live in your blood

in your bones, your DNA

They sing ancient songs to you

…a message to not delay

in owning all you are

dig into your roots

walk gently on the earth

…take off those heavy boots

of fear and confusion

mixed with anger and pain

shake off false illusion

find peace again

Remember your spirit

hears the song of your soul

in the silence

between deep forest notes

is all of you

…complete and whole

We create by our words repeated again and again… mantras… awen, om and such, chanted… word-sounds that have a ripple affect in the aethers to create or destroy… no different to our response to perceived negative or positive energy, held in the sound and remembered/implicated through various experiences in association with the word.

Remember, our programmes are laid early and can remain close to the surface of our energy-consciousness (yet, not in stone, unless we chose to live in the old vibration the associated words suggest), but consider the word NO, said often enough that may lead a child to rebellion. All the should/shouldn’t, can’t/can… phrases such as “if you’re good, you can” “if you’re naughty, you can’t…”

Then there’s, maybe, might, perhaps, if only, try… and that last one is the clincher… if we try to do something, complete a project etc., trying isn’t using a means to identify an outcome because its always hanging unfinished in the aethers, waiting. Trying isn’t the energy of completion, I WILL is.

Nature has its own language of birth, death and rebirth in a continuum and thus its own language of creation… we are in the process now of remembering, which will unlock the words and frequencies of understanding that we have long forgotten through separating ourselves from the ‘unwritten’ coding in our every cell.

Watch your words… walk softly… be kind… Awen /|\

Reading this, in bed with, allowing the mind to wander, watching where it went and why, I listened to your gentle snoring and how I resonated with the word of your blog and I comprehended the intention of your blog.
